Employment Services

MCS' East Side Job Bank is dedicated to providing services that enable Eastside residents to get and keep jobs.

Trained staff help assess work-related skills and interests and match them to available jobs. Staff help with the initial contact and follow-up with job seekers until the right match is found.

Assessing Job Skills
Testing and assessment are available to determine readiness to assume a specific position or to help job seekers determine their skills.

Resume Building
Assistance is provided to help job seekers assemble the proper information in the right way to create and update effective resumes.

Job Retention
At times, barriers exist that make it difficult for someone to keep a job. Barriers may be lack of transportation, inadequate child care, lack of appropriate work clothes or personal issues. Job Bank counselors can link Eastside residents to over thirty partners through Ramsey County's Eastside Work Resource Hub, accessing help to resolve issues that may interfere with getting or keeping a job.
