The Merrick Community Services East Side Job Bank is dedicated to providing services aimed at obtaining employment (resume writing, employment counseling and resource referral)and building skills for today's job market.  Merrick provides certified training programs in both construction, environmental and highway construction trades.

The Senior Program is dedicated to providing services that enable area seniors to remain independent and to continue living in their own homes for as long as possible.  Services include indoor and outdoor chores, healthy groceries, Meals on Wheels, and Social Groups.

Merrick Community Services is dedicated to connecting families and individuals with community resources to help eliminate long-term causes of hunger.  A food shelf at Woodland Hills, two culturally specific mobile food shelves, and a Holiday Share program support immediate needs of struggling families on the East Side.

Youth & Family Services offers a variety of programs to strengthen and promote healthy families and youth. Staff members are skilled at working with young parents, single dads and moms and two parent families.  A variety of youth programs are also offered in a safe, healthy environment.  Programs are designed to promote responsibility, respect for self, others and property, and are offered during after-school, evening hours, and out of school time.
