Merrick Community Services is dedicated to providing services aimed at obtaining employment (resume writing, employment counseling and resource referral)and building skills for today's job market.  Merrick provides certified training programs in both construction, environmental and highway construction trades.

Merrick Community Services is dedicated to providing services aimed at starting careers and building skills for today's job market.  Merrick provides certified training programs construction, and partners with Hubbs Center and other training partners to help residents achieve career, training, and financial goals.



 

The following programs are offered at Merrick headquarters location at 965 Payne Avenue South, St. Paul, MN 55130:

 

Family Career Services

Merrick Community Services offers career coaching, planning, and individualized assistance to Ramsey County parents with children living at home. For more information, contact Diamond Hunter (651.771.9339 x1004; dhunter@merrickcs.org) OR register for an upcoming Information Session HERE.

 

Family Career Services Info Sessions take place the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month from 10am-11am. Register.

 

Career Training Exploration Workshops take place the third Thursday of each month from 1pm- 3pm. Register.

 

Resource Center

Merrick’s 965 Payne Avenue location offers computers, phone, copying/faxing services, and assistance with job search activities during business hours Monday through Friday.

 

East Side Employment Exchange

As a core member of the East Side Economic Growth Initiative, Merrick partners with the following organizations to collaborate on employer outreach, job fairs, and recruitment for local training opportunities:
