Merrick Community Services (MCS) has internships available for interested college students throughout the school year and summer months. MCS Internships provide students with valuable experiences and opportunities to work in the nonprofit sector. Students are assigned real work responsibilities - from programming and research to marketing, communications and administration. Several internship models are available.

Deliver meals once a week or once a month. We'll accomodate your schedule to be convenient for you.
After School Youth Services
Monday through Friday. Individuals and small groups are welcomed and needed.

Group Volunteering Opportunities
Call to set up a one- time day of volunteering, or a long term volunteer commitment.
Holiday Sharing Phonebank and Distribution
Flexible schedules are available late October through mid-December.
Need Service Hours?
Boy and Girl Scouts, church confirmation requirements, and school service requirements can all be accommodated through the many volunteer opportunities at MCS.
